Global Committees

Africa Committee oversees existing national organizational chapters and creates them in African region. The committee chair works closely with president, board members and each national president of national chapters to implement strategic visions, plans and goals to expand its activities and partnerships regionally.

Asia Pacific Regional Committee oversees existing national organizational chapters and creates them in Asia and the Pacific region. The committee chair works closely with president, board members and each national president of national chapters to implement strategic visions, plans and goals to expand its activities and partnerships regionally.

South America Committee oversees existing national organizational chapters and creates them in South American region. The committee chair works closely with president, board members and each national president of national chapters to implement strategic visions, plans and goals to expand its activities and partnerships regionally.

North America Committee oversees existing national organizational chapters and creates them in North American region. The committee chair works closely with president, board members and each national president of national chapters to implement strategic visions, plans and goals to expand its activities and partnerships regionally.

Europe Committee oversees existing national organizational chapters and creates them in European region. The committee chair works closely with president, board members and each national president of national chapters to implement strategic visions, plans and goals to expand its activities and partnerships regionally.

Programs & Partnerships Committee oversees the organization’s international programs and international partnerships. While Vice President of Programs and Partnerships carries out day-to-day activities that result in the development and implementation of the organization’s programs and partnerships, the Committee oversees long-range planning and general oversight.

Memberships Committee manages the matters of National Chapter Organization membership recruitment, education and retention. The membership chair develops new National Chapter Organization member opportunities and works closely with Vice President of Memberships to make strategic plan and goals for exiting and new members.

Working closely with the Vice President of Governance, Governance Committee is in charge of nurturing the international board and being responsible for board recruitment, orientation, self-assessment, continuing education, and management.

Public Relations Committee serves as an advisory committee to the Vice President of Public Relations and the Board of Directors assisting in the development of recommendations on concepts, plans, strategies, programs, and activities that support, facilitate, and otherwise guide the marketing and public relations efforts for KIF.

Finance & Fundraising Committee oversees the preparation of the annual global budget and the global performance of the organization meeting its budgeted revenues and expenses as well as plans specific fundraising events and activities. Working closely with V.P. of Finance and Fundraising, the Committee also receives regular international reports on the organization’s performance in meeting, its budget and hence and presents that information to the full board.
