KIF is committed to preserving nature, species and humankind on Earth, yet recognizes the importance of engaging in the exploration, tourism, and research of outer space. To move forward, KIF created the international space initiative Spacestellar to engage the next generation in the discovery of space exploration.
KIF Global co-founder Shin Koyamada has developed an interest about space exploration and outer space since he was a kid visiting the Uchinoura Space Center for countless times in his dad's hometown in Kagoshima, Japan. Twenty years later, he was privileged to have multiple opportunities to meet and talk directly with different active American and Japanese astronauts and was very much inspired by their stories about space exploration to eventually create an international space program at KIF for the next generation.
The Spacestellar initiative aims to attract and engage young people globally to; interact with each other; share and deepen mutual interests, passions and understanding about outer space; cultivate strong team leadership skills; and gain knowledge and experience of space science and technology through space-themed activities.
Spacestellar aims to attract and engage young people globally through international exchange activities.
We welcome all individuals who believe in our mission and vision and are ready to take on some wonderful assignments for our programs and activities to make a difference in your communities and its people.
