Approximately 30 women hailing from the Budapest region convened at the Papp Laszlo Arena to actively engage in a seminar focused on women's self-defense. This event marked the second initiative under the "Guardian Girls Global Karate Project" in Hungary's capital.

The seminar, spearheaded by Teresa Garcia, an Instructor affiliated with the World Karate Federation (WKF), was meticulously organized in collaboration with the Hungarian Karate Federation. The local expertise of instructor Veronika Dora Bucs-Tonk played a crucial role in ensuring the event's success.

In addition to Teresa Garcia, the seminar was graced by the presence of WKF Instructors Amy Connell and Eimear Porter. Throughout the event, these instructors demonstrated the efficacy of Karate techniques in addressing and countering the most common scenarios of Gender-Based Violence.
